Figheri is the apartment guests write to us about. Its living room is unusually generous for Venice, and its windows frame both the canal and the marble façade of Santa Maria dei Miracoli — the kind of view people cross the world for, from your own sofa.

One quiet double bedroom, a bathroom with shower, and a fully equipped kitchen — induction hob, dishwasher, Nespresso — complete the residence on the second floor of the palazzo.

We made Figheri for two: couples who plan slow mornings, long aperitivi, and evenings with the window open onto the church. There is a seat built into the windowsill, made for exactly this: you settle in with a drink and watch the gondolas glide by just below, while the city of art stays outside and this remains your own private refuge.
