Under the roof, above it all

Liona is the last flight of stairs and worth every step: the loft of Palazzo Miracoli, on the third and highest floor, where the ceiling follows the old roofline and the windows look down on the church and the canal below.

One double bedroom, a bathroom with shower, and an open living space under timber beams, with a fully equipped kitchen — induction hob, dishwasher, Nespresso — tucked neatly into the composition.

We made Liona for two guests who love architecture, light, and being slightly above the rest of Venice. Up here, after a day among churches and museums, it feels like a secret nest beneath the rooftops: the city stays below, and the quiet is entirely yours.
